So what was the reason for the demise of #3? Size or content. I like the rambling nature of these threads.

Having a good summer here in Fairbanks. Was real fortunate to get in on a '93 honda fourtrax w/ just 1,000 for a $1,000. I've always heard of folks getting deals, guess it was my turn. Now if I just wasn't working 6/10's maybe I'd get to use it! We've had amazing weather. If it's not raining Sunday I think we'll go wet a line on the Chena for father's day. Hope to hook a few nice grayling! Just a couple of weeks and we'll be landing halibut in Valdez, wife wants to catch some yellow eye (it's been her passion the last couple of years).

How much do those wooderwood and wondercoal stoves go for up there ? I bought mine 11 years ago and never used it , never hooked it up. Now, I am trying to sell it and don't know what I will get for it.

I haven't heard of them CB, but that does not mean they are not here! I googled and there are a lot of articles about them.

Why not check ebay and see if anyone is trying to sell one there?

I already got 32 bids so far on mine. Hoping to get at least 200 or 300 for it.

Has anyone heard from Wayne & Scarlett lately? I heard a rumor (and we know what those are like) that Eagle wasn't getting anymore help from FEMA? (Not that it surprises me) But if that's the case I'd like to try and send some sort of help that way to the community.

Hey CB, I just got back from ANC and I thought I spotted your house on Muldoon. I wish I would have brought my camera because I could have given you a better perspective.

Have you seen Joe Dirt? If so, it looked a little like Joe's parents place.

On another note, I accidently cut off a middle aged lady somewhere near the Hilton. She promptly gave me the finger and honked her horn. I rolled down the window and yelled, "Sorry! I'm from Bethel!" smile

I hate Anchorage.

I googled that Muldoon rd. 4 lane rd , moderate amount of traffic , some businesses and mix of houses. not a bad area. A bit more crowded than I would like, though.

Yeah, it's not a bad area. I'd move there in a heart beat.
