White I know a guy that made his own mini steamer with a pressuer cooker. he rigged up a hose to the top where the press gauge goes and fed that into the forzen sewer. It may take a while, but it will work in a pickle. He placed it on a coleman stove so it is portable and he said it took a couple hours to steam his place.

Wll it's finally getting light here so I'm going out to start at the far end of the system. Thanks to P9er I realized I need to determine if my tank is frozen or functional. Thanks for the steamer idea. Maybe I can steam some sled runners at the same time.

Come to think of it I have a friend who did the same thing with a blazo can and a hose. Thanks !!

If you can get a hose down the line to the frozen spot, just hook a garden hose to a hot water outlet and feed the hose through the frozen area.

Good luck, I imagine OB is getting tired of carrying the honey bucket to work each day to dump it.

LOL ! fortunately it's been the weekend. She'll have to pack it off in the morning. I got her one of those shoulder yokes so she can balance a bucket on each end.

For better production, she should learn to balance it on her head, leaving her hands free for other items. This would also really impress other ladies in the village, raising her status amoung them.

Not at 12 degrees it didn't. BUT< I did find the problem. The ground had heaved the perimeter of the house just enough to creat a downhill slope toward the toilet. I put some heat under the building this morning and saw a leak begin dripping. So I went to plan B. Got under the house with a cordless sawzall and cut out the offending section. Dropped the downstream end an inch and jacked up the floor another 1/2". Should be good for another week or so now.

There was only a section about 16 inches long with ice in it.

Sure it wasn't that burrito fest you had last week that caused the pipe to sag at that point.... smile
