Canadian Troops have class but so do little boys who respect the stories of their Great grand Parents.

I received this from an American who appreciates Canada and our place in this world. I am forwarding it because I think every Canadian and especially our troops and their officers should see this. Strange thing ,History. If the Brits & the Americans had kept Canada as the spearheading battle force they were on the road to Berlin, they would have beat the Russians into Berlin. That trick would have nipped the Berlin Wall in the bud as well,as the cold war antics. Once Berlin would have fallen the German troops in Holland would have capitulated out of necessity . However Politics and oneupmanship made those countries send us to Holland, which for all intents and purposes was a wild goose chase because the fall of Berlin would be like cutting the head from the German army. No country ever gave any other Nation the love and respect which Holland has anointed The Canadian Army with. Sometimes things work out better then smart folks plan for, as proven by emotions of the people of Holland which hinged upon a tactical military error which was employed by Britain & the Americans. This kids great Grand Parents instilled in him the love and respect he is showing Canadian soldiers.

A lone young Belgian boy is waiting to salute the Canadian troops pass by who had been attending a memorial service. Such class from our Canadian troops - watch what they do for this little boy.
The "Eyes right" command, is the biggestcomplement troops on parade can pay and is reserved for dignitaries in reviewing
stands.
