Use it here all the time as well. Even use it on my hounds. They don't like the sting, but cheaper than stiching them.

Sullivan, the book that s and w gives you with there gun cleary states keep your hand away from the barrel cylinder gap, I saw one picture in a magazine where the someone did that and he was actually going to sure S and W. Which is another way to bankrupt the gun industry.

Stay safe

You guys are on the money. Super glue (cyanoacrylate) and Dermabond (Octly-cyanoacrylate) are very similar, but dermabond is more pliable.

Just watch what you do with this stuff, as it can create a mess with your laceration.

The way I was taught to use Dermabond was to approximate the wound edges together and then apply the glue. Don't get it down in the wound. And don't start applying until you have stopped the bleeding with direct pressure.

Another tip on Super Glue:

Works GREAT as fletching cement for making arrows. I use the Martha Stewart brand from Walmart (3tubes for $1.50) vs. fletching cement sold at the archery shop for $6.00/tube.

Only difference... its a little runnier. Never had a fletch pull off my carbon arrows and that's on multiple pass-through shots with the same arrow.

Later.

Most hospitals/doctors offices are using super glue anyway.

Fresh circle in the morning, nothing better.
