No they are very easy to attach. Just unscrew the bolt that holds the pan on. Take the pan off, put the black hole device on in it's place and put the bolt back in. Tom

There is a pic of one I caught last season. I painted some of mine white, so they would have a little more eye appeal. I havent done to much research to see if it was more effective or not, but I thought it would stand out more like PVC.

Ever seen a cat put it's foot into a shrew or mole hole, or a knot hole in a barn wall or floor? Hmmmm...guess those are some special cats out that way....LOL.

Perhaps the times I have witnessed this behavior was a one in a billion occurance...probably higher. Either I'm really "blessed" or something else is going on here...LOL.

I bought 6 of these from Flattrap this weekend at the Trappers D10 meeting. They fit on my 1 1/2's perfect. While I would have prefered Lit Griz I could not afford the investment. I will take some catch pictures this fall and can post some results.

I think you will like them and be happy there WIcooner.

That coon had one paw next to the blackhole and the other one reaching in to trip the trap. Had enough of a gap from the other paw being so close to the lever that he was able to pull his paw out of the blackhole.
