I hear alot about bending the jaw tips up. Any video or photos of process available. If so please post for me. I've tried and am not happy with the results. I'm sure there is a better way.

Just grab the end of the tip with a vice grip and bend it up.

When I tried to grab and bend it seems like the jaw distorts alot. Thought maybe there is a better way.

I've had decent success with using a set of vise grips to hold the jaws againts the traps frame, just above the holes where the jaws go through the frame. Once their held tightly in place use your hammer to put a SLIGHT bend in the jaw tips. If you get to carried away you'le end up snapping the ends off. If you can you are better off just putting a bead of weld on the jaw tips. Also if you are laminating and base plateing your traps there is no need to bend the jaw tips up as the extra steel will keep the jaws from flexing enough to come out of the traps frame. Just my opinions. Worm

If the jaws are distorting, it sounds like you might be bending too far. No need to bend them all the way up like a horseshoe as I've seen some do.

Sure, if you have a welder. Otherwise bend the tips with a pair of Channelocks, slightly.
