Do you use the same lure that you used before or use a different one?

If its a canine catch I do like K. miller. The first yote or fox left all the smell you will need for the next one.If it was a non target such as a coon or possum I will relure with the same.

I prefer bait myself. The catch circle smells to high heaven like whatever it was you caught, bait would add more intrigue for a fox/coyote than what I would think lure would do.

My remakes use the same trap and remake the dirt hole. No lure, no urine. Of course, this is only when I catch the target animal initially.

I like to add a little lure/bait to the hole to keep them focused there instead of the whole set.

Charles Dobbins wrote in one of his books that if he catches a non-target animal he will not use a gland lure or urine.

I relure, re-bait, and give it a few shots of fox urine to cover up some scent and make the set a little better.

the circle "IS" the gland lure... common... thats common sense right????

i think a remake often becomes a scent post... put something as a big backing and shoot some pee.... next one will be there
