Sorry to tell you but the odds of that thing living out of the wild are 1 in 10. I tried it about 5-6 times when I was a kid....never worked. They need momma...

ive raised many litters after the mothers had been ran over by bushhogs, when i was young, takes up alot of time, and will lose, some from each litter, best to leave em be, too bad ya dog killed the mother, for some strange reason im thinkin some of the youngins on here are out on hunts to catch baby critters, not a good idea, anyhow, good luck with the rabbits

the mama knows who her babies are and dont want any others, we have a hard time trying to put a calf that we bought on cow whos calf died, sometimes they take em sometimes they reject em

When we used to put orphan baby mink in with a new mother we would smear Vicks on the mothers nose. That shuts down her sense of smell for a while, and the new kits intermingles with the others and starts to smell like them. Seemed to help minimize the rejections.

I understand Cody but rabbits were put on this earth to be dinner for a fox. Who are we to deprive the fox???
