A 2 ton dosen't work. That's a 6 ton and if your not real strong you might want to get a 10 ton. Good one rockey.

I bend all mine in a 5" Bench vise and this jig:


1/8th-inch stock is plenty thick for any trap baseplate!

That looks nice TexA but this one is really handy and I can take it anywhere with me. 1/8" is what I make mine out of as you don't need 3/16" ones. All they do is make the trap a whole lot heavier.

Yeh, portability is nice but I make all my mods in my shop, not out in the field somewhere....

I like those hydralic-jack presses too. I'm going to have to make one myself.....
