Have access to some ponds FILLED with 4-6" sunfish(bluegills, redears, green sunfish, etc.) and was curious if these guys had a purpose on the table instead of just coon bait. Anyone care to share a recipe or two for these little guys?

Scale them and filet them. It is a little bit of work but the pay off is worth it. Get yourself a spoon and use it for your scaler, filet off the little bit of meat they have to offer. Get a tupperware bowl and put in a cup of Drakes and some cajun powder. Shake the filets in the dry batter and fry in a bit of veggie oil. Fry meat down and when the roll up flip them on to the skin side.

Tatar sauce, 1 cup of helmans, 1/2 cup of dill relish, 3 table spoons of red hot.

That is God's food!
