Here is a picture of the Paws-I-Trip Alloy steel rod replacement dogs that I put on fully modified Bridger #2 coils. I used the reg. bridger pan and man do these work great. Already nite latched and twice as heavy as the original dogs. For 6.95 a doz. sure beats filling reg. dogs. Here is a couple of pictures:

His name is Ed Medvetz, he was the inventor of the Paws-I-Trip pan system and dogs. He does not have a website. I can pm you his e-mail if you want to get information.

joeburg: the dogs that huntinglonewolf has pictured (2 1/16")are too long for the wolfers. tried that same thing but you would have to bend the dog few times to make it fit. you can order from ed a dog that would fit i'm sure.

when using these does the pan need to be free falling like the reg paws i trip pan or does there need to be tension on the pan screw?

I put tension of 2-3 lbs on mine but they will work with no tension.

FYI just picked up a Bridger 1.65 and measured the stock dog and it looks like the 1-3/4" posi-dog will work on them. Will try it out. This may be a better option to night latch the Bridgers because of the hump back design of the Bridger pan above the notch area on the 1.65's and the #2's.

Do all the models have the "slant".

Can the trap be set on a high pan and then pulled down into the night latch notch?

i'm not sure about all models having the slant. from what marty got i'd say that they are now being made with the slant. i bought mine last year from the manufacturer and the came squared off as compared to the slant that are now available. yes they can be set high and pulled down into the set position.

CoonDuke you just measure your dog and ask for the ones with the slant. These are really heavy dogs and work on stock pans great.

HLW,
I would assume the slanted ones work better with the stock pans?

It's easy to measure them. That way there is no doubt about getting the right one. Better to be a little long then to short.

For the people who asks if they would fit all traps. There is a post on here that shows the sizes and how to measure. Yes they will fit any of the traps .
