goldy goldy trapper Registered: 12/31/07 Posts: 1210 Loc: minnesota	I attach mine as close to the stake as I can get it. I use copper wire and roll or fold the tag also. I don't have too many problems.

I lose less this way then wiring them on. _________________________ When I was 45 I thought I was bulletproof.......I was wrong. Use to wrap mine around the frame under the pan, actually lost fewer that way than wrapping around the chain toward the end/stake end. TexA TexA trapper Registered: 12/24/06 Posts: 2079 Loc: Estherville, IA	Hog Rings = NEVER ! Lay your tags out on a piece of cardboard, Spray them with a coat of RUSTOLEUM Flat Black paint, turn 'em over after they've dried and paint the other side too. I use a piece of #17 black wire, form a loop and run the wire through the hole in the tag and through one of the chain links. Twist the wire together while holding the open-end of the loop with a needlenose pliers. Clip off any excess and then WRAP the tag around the chain link ((name and address facing out) and squeeze it down tight with a pliers. DEER LANE DEER LANE trapper Registered: 01/23/07 Posts: 199 Loc: Western, Pa, 2D. 51 yrs young	I got the hog rings from Larry A. Finch when I got my tags. I installed them on the last link near the stake end and crimp them tight. I'll be missing a couple at the end of the season, but I got extra.
