Well heres one more video. This is how I set a culvert that runs between two ponds at one place I trap. I have gotten 3 muskrats thru there, but no mink. I let the other guy trap for 2 weeks and he got a big buck mink, which probably ate part of one of the muskrats I got.
Once again, I'm no pro, just throwing this out for discussion

looks good, when the water freezes what do you do then, do you put the trap on top of the ice?

That water usually doesn't freeze right there, the road keeps it open and there is a small amount of flow there.

I'm gonna make another set on the other culvert tomorrow

try a T style trigger on the bottom I have noticed it helps keep the animals from avoiding the trap (might help some)
