Geezerman Geezerman trapper Registered: 12/22/06 Posts: 4269 Loc: Allen County, Indiana	Sorry its in three parts and about 10 minutes long. Guess I need to work on my video production. I just wanted to share with everyone how I make my sets. Not that I am an expert, I do not claim to be, but gives people ideas how others are do their sets and open discussion where we all can learn. I've learned so much from so many on this site and appreciate it. I had caught a coyote here 6 days ago or so, a female. She didn't make a big trap circle, I believe she just got caught that morning. Anyways I usually set again in the middle, but the old trap area was really muddy. [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] First check tomorrow and I'll post what happens. I usually get one the second or third check or later, but rarely on the first check, but we'll see. _________________________ I'm just a bitter, small town midwestern , gun in one hand and bible in the other leprechan $\:\)$

dcampbell dcampbell trapper Registered: 12/23/06 Posts: 991 Loc: livingston Tx	Geezer i caught a gyp yote yesterday what was coming into heat. i took advantage of that. should have some males jumping up and down tonight or in the morning, i have caught a cat, a coon and that gyp yote in the same set three nights running. first check today with nothing in that set. good luck _________________________ aint it fun!

I've had good luck trapping coyotes in the last 3 seasons greatly because of all the help I recieved on this site. Geezerman Geezerman trapper Registered: 12/22/06 Posts: 4269 Loc: Allen County, Indiana	Trapper #1, I use non-iodized salt, I get it in a 40lb bag at the Farm Co-op, however most taxidermist use it and you could call to see where they get theirs from. I pay about 6.50 a bag or so. Fresh snow and no tracks anywhere. These yotes usually run a 3 day routine, there for 3 days, gone for 3 days.
