I was wondering if i can just let it set out or bury with sticks and dirt making it look more like an earthen cubbie. going to use some muskrat carcasses in the back.

i would just go with a pocket set to make it easier. but still bait with muskrat or bluegill. ieven add anise oil....crazy? maybe but it works lol

ive been using pocket sets for 2 weeks now baited with blue gill and been knocking the crap outta the coon but havent even had one incidental mink. maybe i need to set trap further into the hole?

ummm.... i would try muskrat meat.set the trap high (fraction of an inch under water.ummm i would even go as far as trying squirrel and leave the tail sticking outta the hole.

I set the trap right in the tube. Chunk of fish for bait.
