As I recall, the Trapperman crowd gathered money throughout the year for some very worthwhile endeavors- sympathy flowers, a family that was burned out was helped as I recall, or do I rremember wrong? Anyway, perhaps there would be more competitive interest if there was a fresh listing of what the money would go for... p.s. I have a wolverine in the freezer

You can email it to me at bulletsnbait@verizon.net, but don't forget to print out the photo release and mail it to me.
Okay, the basic goal for this calendar is that profits will go to a fund that would be used to help states that are requesting aid for legal support. Basically, it could go to MN, ME, MA, Mi.... does anyone notice the trend of states in legal trouble this year all start with M? Anyway, that's the idea.
One of the members on here has agreed to front the seed money to make the first 50, which will go to the NE NTA if I can get the pictures together in time. The profits from those 50 will go towards filling 'pre-orders' that we hope to get at the NE NTA, and hopefully another 50 to go to the national in Goshen.
The goal in this endeavor is to raise at least 1000 dollars, if not more. Which can be done, just by selling 100 callendars at 20 dollars each, or discounts for multiple purchases (that's post-paid).
This money won't benefit just one organization, like the NTA, or FBU, or singular state, but could benefit many organizations that need the money at any given time. Anyway, that's the idea.

Lil'Bit, have you thought about doing this with CafePress, where you can have a single one printed at a time, and not have to do 500 at one shot? This will be at least a $1000 print job if you are seriously doing it in 4-color, or 6-color, full bleeds (1-2 halftones per page), glossy, only want 100 made, etc.
Anyway I see you have marten listed as one of your critters. Is russian sable acceptable? I don't have any pine martens. I do have some sables.
It's dreary and boring outside in January. Who wants to look at ugly scenery? Most of us don't have the Rockies as our backdrop You could get much better pictures if you tell people that your deadline is June. I can get some digitals this week (MAYBE) but they won't be nearly the quality they would be in May. Having to put plastic wrap all over the ground to protect the pelts before set-up is kind of counterproductive to your "outdoors" thing, but, if you want your February pics and you don't want to see someone sitting bare-butt on their blacktop driveway because that's the only spot dry enough to set skins... so be it.

You could have gotten by with a lot smaller bobcat. Maybe even a small weasel would have sufficed. But at least you dare to dream.

The idea is that the person in the picture is nude, Infamous, but everything 'delicate' is covered up by your catch, or pelt, and it's outside. To participate, print the photo release on the first page, sign it and mail it to the address listed. Then you can send hard copy or email a copy to me of the photo. Hard copies will not be returned so make sure you have a copy.
Rainy, sunny, dark, light, doesn't matter. Charles's was at dusk.

What happen if no critter is big enough to cover up the "delicate" parts?
