Livetrap Livetrap trapper Registered: 06/27/07 Posts: 739 Loc: California	well last year i was removing a few from a neighborhood that had a load of cats. seems my usuall can of sardines was attracting about 2 or 3 cats to every opposum. then i used some really ripe bananas. BINGO! no cats, just them ugly things. caught a few stinky things too. $;\)$ _________________________ The only thing I like about trapping in California is the lack of other trappers.

Yea Bethany Trapper.....I've got one for you.Take some summer caught fish,grind them up and place in a jar in full sunlight.Bleed the gas off this stuff or it'll blow like a bomb.Let it rot down to the point that when a fly lights on it...it's instant death.You're now ready with the best possum puller known to man !!!

Here's a good one for 'ya Cathryn.Back about 36 years ago I was trappin' a big creek that was bordered by many hay fields.I had coon and mink sets down along the water and coyote and fox sets in the bordering hay fields. I climbed up the high bank one day to check a coyote set I'd put in there a couple days earlier.To my shock(LOL) there sat mr. Possum himself. When I picked him up by the tail he sulled up just like a good possum is suppose to.Taking him out I layed him to one side while I remade my set. I must have gotten a little careless bedding dirt inside the jaws of that no.4 double longspring.Wham !!! Off she goes grabbing my thumb and first finger. Well Mr. Possum shows that his momma didn't raise no fool and off he goes across that big hay field with his tail in the air like a hog.You never seen a trapper get out of a trap some fast and give chase to Mr.Possum. What made it so funny was that I had hip boots on.....LOL
