)....I do like that lil' guy wavin'...) Ha! \:\) Vinke, you say you were on a "midnight run" last night to pick up animals. Is that a normal procedure for you? I usually only would leave on an emergency, say, a bat in a house or maybe some animal got in somehow. But I wouldn't pick up an outside catch until first light or mid morning. Just curious on that one.

Good point! One could clean cages and get every thing restocked in the trucks for the 6 am shift. \:\) I either wait until the traffic dies down from the 9 am rush or try to beat it. Getting stuck in a traffic jam will cause stress that I don't need. Endless energy? well not me...That left when I finally got my AARP card. Ha! \:D I'm just a guy who has a lot of trouble sleeping a normal amount of time. If I had a good wife, that would probably be different. ;\)

A good dog wont ask why you are always too busy to do girly stuff.Wont complain about you coming home smelling like a coyote or a skunk either. I vote for a good dog!

Right now I need a couple of lure maker helpers. I have few tons of grinding that needs done, fish to be cut, skunk pods to be drained and ground.Cat meat is done. Then I would be ready to formulate some things.

 Quote:
"midnight run"

Lt I emcourage the "close" customers to call me at night if a catch is made ....... ..More so later in the sason when the family of coon are coming to the feeders/ food supply.......I think it does three things....1) It make for less trap shy animal 2) Allows me to remake and catch the next animal though 3) Make time in the day to go Crabing............ \:\)
Then I am doing jobs with large amounts of coons, I (or the home owner) will Bait my traps with the door tied open for a short period of time.......Then when the 20 coon have become "trap oriented" I will set 22 traps........This prevent you from catching a young one fist.....And making the rest trap shy.....
Trap shy animals will often see the others eating.....this then seems to increase my ability to catch then as well.........

I dont have any neighbors close.Quarter mile may be the nearest one. There certainly is a complexity of odors coming from here almost year round.

I catch fox and coyote around my building all winter and see their tracks in the snow out in front of my shop very often.

My shop just plain stinks. Believe me. It permeates your soul not just your clothing. LOL
