I was really into turning in the late 90's. Then being in the bush and moving lost access to a place to do much. Now that I have my shop coming on line. I am excited to get into it again. I have always wanted to go to the National Woodturners Symposium. But the AK one would be fun as well. Wish it was in April as I may be still trapping in early March. Otherwise I would join you. Get the juices flowing again.

I will post some pics of the game calls when I have them completed. Woodturning sure is fun. If these game calls sell good enough, I might buy a Jet mini lathe.

Turns out Treadwell was not "among" the bears so much as he was "inside" them.....

This is true Pete, the only reason they were letting him live there so long is they wanted to age their meat.

Either that or the smell of his own CRAP. That tends to bring your attention around REAL QUICK to what is happening.

Nope I don't trap around here. Still waiting for the river to freeze enough to land on at my place.
