BOLETES

So I believe these are a type of bolete. I do not have much experience with these. Does anyone know which of the boletes are the good ones to look for and eat. I found these the other day with a couple of Cinnabar chanterelles. Thanks in advance.

that one is a blue staining bolete...not poisonous... but bitter tasting and can make ya puke. one very similliar is a lilac bolete.....but the cap does not turn turn blue. a good way to test is buy you a cheap bottle of ammonia and eyedropper........put a drop of ammonia on the stem........if it turns green......you have a lilac bolete....which are edible.
