Looking to go out in the woods for mushrooms and I am wondering what I may run into this time of year in SE PA. Total noobie, so I know to get several books, check, check and double check so as to not poison myself.
Just wondering what I should be seeing, if anything.

pheasant backs and oysters can be found in the fall too. also look for lions mane, bears head, puff balls.
