id for me this plant please, ginseng? - 09/12/15 10:14 PM

Was walking around today ran across some plants, I have no experience with ginseng but thought this might be it.I found pics online to look at but still not sure.I didn't see any with berries but I suppose there could be several reasons why there wouldn't be berries.Thanksfor any info.

Look at the stem, the hickory will be bark and the ginseng is just plant stem no bark.

Also look for a berry pod, even if there aint any berries on it. Most sang will have one.

The berry pod will be on a stock or "prong" that comes out from the center and is usually around 6"-10" long.

all the leaves on each prong of ginseng attach at one central point also.
