At first I thought bloodroot then I learned what it looks like, Lots of this on roadsides what is it >

looks like coltsfoot? The flowers look like dandilion and are about the fist flowers you see in the spring.

Pretty sure that's wild ginger, grows every where here.

I was thinking Ginger too...how can I confirm its that? Special things t look for? I didn't think the pic I took had so much glare till I got home. I can take more tomorrow if that will help

Looks like colts foot. Ginger does not have that kinda square looking leaves.

Stick, coltsfoot grows along the roads and culverts most everywhere in west pa.
Have you ever notice the yellow flowers early in the spring, before the leafs come out on the plant? The flowers don't have a smooth stem like dandelion, but they look somewhat alike. I'm pretty sure that what you've got there.
I don't know if it's worth anything but I think it does have some medical uses

immature burdock root or wild ginger would be my guess.
