anybody got a good source for stratifed sand seed. looking for good seed from really good stock at a reasonable price.
Don't know how you feel about e-bay but there's a guy from Minnesota that sells seed and year old roots on there. I've bought both from him and highly recommend him, good prices too (I think so). He goes by the user name old-cartoon-comics. just search ginseng seed and you'll find his listings.

So far, I can't find anybody to even buy from. The only price I have heard is 170 per lb. Now don't that shake you in your boots, considering I always sold mine from 55 to 65 per.
I am working on trying to convince my grandfather to start selling ginseng seeds from his company Ernst Conservation Seeds. We specialize in native plant seeds but I dont think my grandfather has ever given ginseng a thought. I am going to bring it to his attention so keep an eye out for that possibility next year
