I never find patches!!! I find single plants every 20-30 yards. They are just in all the woods.

I know where there was a huge patch. Maybe 100 x 100 yds. That was 15 years ago. And I doubt it has been touched.

It smells pretty good when you get it bagged. Almost a vanilla smell.

It will also make me sneeze, if I mess with much of it. Goldenseal messes my head up also. It gets to me most when I buy drums of the stuff and have to weigh the dang stuff.

Don how much are you paying for bloodroot? What all does it require to ship and make it worth while. may digging season just got cut off with a new job.

!2.00 a lb. on bloodroot is what it is worth at this time, Panax. Personally, I find that USPS is about as cheap as anybody. The best price is not necessarily the special rate boxes they put out. Put it in a carton that you can mash it into and find the cheapest way to send it. personally, I would check all the different ways for best prices. USPS, UPS and Fedex and any other way you can get it shipped the cheapest way.
