Is anybody familiar with birch conks,or "birch polypore mushroom"?

I know that they are important to my Russian friends. Find a local Russian grocery store and inquire there. They make a tea out of the ground up conk. I can't remember but I think it's either for T.B. or some sort of cancer.

The tea is a muscle relaxent.I believe these mushrooms are regulated in Europe.Natives in Canada use it as well.I dont know if you can sell them in MN.I've been using them for a couple of years now.But, it is one of the mushrooms that feed off of dying birch trees.My interest is in marketing them.The problem is that they are plentyfull.
