Another Adirondack Mushroom ID "Confirmed"

I have been picking these with the guidance of a experienced picker. The problem lies in that he does not know the correct name for this mushroom. He has picked them for approx. 40 years from the same area and hardwood stumps/trees. Being curious I would like to know the name. They grow only on hardwood, stumps, standing injured/dead hardwood, or fallen hardwood debris. Any help would be appreciated.

They are Honey Mushrooms, I confirmed it through another competent source.

I believe they are Honey Mushrooms also called Papinky's.
