Drying Roots........

I picked some big Black cohosh roots this weekend.I was always told that if it's bigger than your thumb cut it.This way it will dry right..Am I correct on this????I hope so....

I should say all roots but Ginseng.....

I cut/break my cohosh to enable me to wash it really clean, buyers need only clean stuff

Good then...I cut them...Just no way to clean them right with out doing it.

What is your method of cleaning them? The hose doesn't get into all the little nooks and cranies......

No Bill..But I can tell you some killer sites right after I pick the Ginseng LOL.....

My buddy timber guy here told me of a spot ...lots of roots. So I go, well looks like the cats been covern their business in there all tore up NO ROOTS...L.O.L....

Cohosh is something ompletely overlooked in my parts, seen where genseng hunters have walked by hundreds, guess most don't know what it is, others to lazy.
