What kind of and where did you get that woven[ looks like ss screen] in the pic?

It is stainless steel with an opening of 1/4" using .063" wire( it maybe .072") The screen is made right down the road here.I was the Director of Purchasing there for 13 years so I borrowed it....lol

When you dig it, do you just dig a big clump of dirt with it and rinse the dirt away so that the small roots don't break off. They look like it would be hard to keep them attached.

The small feeder roots are really easy to keep on the plant. Even if you loose a few, it won't be any big loss.;
