Bud's post about how many years couples have been married got me to thinking back on how much we change over the years -lol.

Anyway, post a pic of yourself back when you were young, if you're not still young.

I recall a nice one of Jtwappa when he was young.... holding a possum, I think.

Anyway here's one of Rhonda and me around 32 years ago when stationed in Turkey....



And this was just me around the same time period....

This picture was taken 55 years ago and was of a nice pike I caught as a young lad on Nisswa Lake.

Please note the shadow if you can that shows I am holding it out on a mop handle to make it look bigger. I was following the directions of the guy at the bait shop. I still like to hold 'em out front a bit.

This was 30 years ago when I set six 330's one afternoon and had 6 beaver waitin' for me the next morning.

This is me last fall..how time flies and changes our appearance....ahhhhrrgghh!!

I'm completely jealous of y'all having old timey pictures. I don't have a single picture of me trapping in my youth(52 now), just pictures of the last 8 years of ADC work. But in my mind the pictures are clear and vivid, I caught a lot more then anybody else,everything was bigger and my pelts were handled to perfection.

really cool post guys, neat to look at on my birthday as i wonder how i made it this long and how bad i can abuse my body from here on out, its strange to go to bed one night and wake up the next day and be a whole year older, you take time to remember nicks and dings along the way and realize you only get one shot at each day, so live them to the fullest and take lots of pictures so that some day when your old and gray and tired, and your kids, or grandkids, or great-grandkids get to thinking your just a wheel-chair accesory you can point to one and say hey, i walked uphill both ways to school through waist high snow in knee high shorts and enjoyed every minute of it cause them were the good ol days.

So heres to long lives and tight chains, your bobber going under, and your buck going down, Ill buy you all a drink in 2100 on my 112th birthday,

Interesting story. The kid I'm shooting, in that picture, got invloved with drugs, bad, snuck into the Toledo zoo and climbed into the polar bear cage. The bears killed him.
