Safeguard Skunk Cages - 02/05/17 09:13 PM

Looking for opinions on the Safeguard Pro Skunk cages. I'm still new to the game, starting out just last fall part time. I have some Comstock cages which are execellent, however looking for something for a few potential commercial jobs in town.

Safeguard makes a good trap. I'm not familiar with their Pro Skunk cages, but skunks aren't overly destructive in cages. I'm confident you'll be fine.

I have a dozen that I've been using for ten years. Excellent trap.

Thanks for the replies. I've been looking at some Tomahawk cages as an option as well.

If I had my druthers on skunk traps I would go with the Comstock's first, Tomahawks Pro series second choice and tube traps as my third choice.

Carl, How do you get the skunks out of the comstocks?

I open the door and they walk out. *Shrug*

We have several dozen been using them a long time. Good versatile traps for the value. They can be used for other smaller animals as well.
