Forget the cowbell, just put a couple of the large super duty zip ties on his drive shaft. He will think his truck is falling apart.

I got one of my managers finally. He drove around half the day with that cow bell ringing. He finally started bouncing the corners of his truck to try to figure out what the noise was.
He's going to do strap it to one of the other trucks.
