first for me on ghogs - 09/30/15 01:08 AM

Set up a property manager today for groundhogs on 2 rental properties....

On one...he wanted me to inspect the basement...said was a big pile of dirt down there....he was right...groundhogs had dug into front side of house under foundation and dug out in front of basement and ran around the top ledge and dug a hole under backside oof basement under foundation to the back....bet that hog felt like he found the giant mansion

I had a skunk do that. I can only imagine how the client felt when they walked downstairs and found a skunk.

Roe, if I were limited to just one trap for woodchucks, it would be the 24 inch Comstock.

I had one do that a few years ago. When he dug inside, he filled the sump pump pit with dirt.

I snare more groundhogs than I cage trap.

Kind of gives new meaning to the slogan, "Won't you wear my ring around your neck?"

Pretty common with both groundhogs and skunks.
