Paul, saw on the morning news that you have a lion in your town. Have you caught it yet?

Congratulations Jim! You are the 50 thousandth person to ask me that question so you must have some kind of prize coming. If the

pictures I saw were not faked, it looked like a mountain lion. Probably escaped from someone's cage in the garage. We used to have a

guy within a mile of our house the had a huge cage in his old weather beaten garage that held a good sized mountain lion. All I know

for sure is that with all the Milwaukee cops running around with rifles, dressing up like a lion, just to be funny, would not be a

great idea.

In this day and age where everyone and their mother owns an exotic species of some sort, venomous snake, exotic primate, big cat, etc.... I have less of a hard
time believing the crazy sounding news stories.

If we only knew how many people have things like this even in city apartments, suburban housing tracts and for sure in country settings, we'd probably be shocked.

Though the video is grainy the shoulders and muscle tone sure look pretty darn large. I remember years ago (13+) in MI someone took a video of a house cat in corn stubble and everyone was calling it a mountain lion when it was clearly a domestic cat, however again, not ever out of the question how many there are in captivity with some knucklehead who bought it from some other knucklehead...

Exotics are a real problem for many reasons, including things like the python epidemic in FL and the southeastern US.

Saw the film on the news. Sure looks like a Cougar to me. Head is too small for an African Lion.
