What kind of problem? How long has the "problem" existed? Exposed nest or small entrance hole into a wall? Ground nest? Do you have pictures of the problem area?

I usually use a hand bellows loaded with 10% SEVIN dust pumped into the opening(s) at night . It usually takes only a few days for all the yellow jackets to die.

Moth balls! grin

If it's inside the walls I hit it with a co contact killer so I can get close without a swarm and then dust the snot out of it. Last year I treated a garage where the entire stud bay was 1 big nest!

Paper cones are usually contact killer and then i foam the opening shut. Cut it down or scrape it off when the buzzing inside stops.

Ground nests are just dusted.

I've found that the best preventative measure is to purchase bee suits that fit ever body but me.
