FTA

Went to the FTA for a few hours yesterday. Weather was bad but they sure took care of the kids! My boy came home with a 1.5 coilspring. He wanted to see me set it. Then he wanted to do it himself. Seen him do it successfully a few times! He will get pinched someday but right now its all fun. Not a fur trapper, but I bet a few traps get set this season!

He is 7 years old by the way.

Sounds like FTA stands for Future Trappers of America.

The were great, my son was given a couple freebies too DVD on yotes, and other stuff. I think it's great that the vendors see the future and encourage the young ones

I watched Andy Weiser hand out bottle after bottle of lures to kids. Good stuff!

I don't know if I would want my 7 year old playing in the house with bottles of lure!

Mike, you should have came over and said hello. I enjoy reading your writings. We were at Andy's booth with LT most of the time.
There wasn't much to see with all the tailgaters leaving due to the rain.
