I have seen a video on u-tube about using a milk jug to catch 13 line ground squirrel. At one of my mole jobs I had last week I seen a 13 line ground squirrel go down a hole. So I marked the hole with a flag. Went back today and had a gallon jug of water. Yep is was by his hole. Ran out and put the jug over the hole. Out he came in a little area right next to the jug. Chased him to another hole, go more water, again I put the jug tight over the hole, nothing happened. Pulled the jug and out he came. Chased him to another hole. Again I put the jug tight over the hole. He ran right up into the jug. I put the cap on and off we went. Just make sure you milk jug cover the hole and wait 30 sec. or so after the last of the water is gone.

Wonder what the customers will think when they see a crazy man running around the yard with a milk jug? LOL

A #1 ls over hole upside down does a good job but there is a cage trap that works well...someone on here makes em
