How do you guys normally remove them from a house? What do you use for baits, traps and so on?
Thanks

No bait. Colony trap. If you're positive it's flyers and you don't catch a bunch first night, you missed a hole somewhere.

Great picture Brian. We usually don't have that many flyers in a house. Three, four, or five is usually about all we get. I don't

know why. I know even in northern Wisconsin they have larger family groups. How many are in that cage?

Bat cone will get them out. I've used 1.5" pvc in a pinch.

Paul, I think there were a dozen +/-. That pic was from quite a few years ago. I still avg. about 7 per house. Back in '08 I was avg. 14, and had many houses with 20 or more. 28 (twice) is my record. The most I've caught in one trap in one night is 22.

EBL, yes, excluders work, but if you miss a hole, the noise continues and you don't know if it's mice or squirrels. I don't do mouse work, so it's a pain going after the "squirrels" they keep hearing, but aren't there. With a colony, I know right away whether I found all entries (trap is full) or if I missed a hole (trap empty or only one catch).
