Best groundhog fence for around garden. How deep in ground, with 90 degree bend a foot long?
Type and size wire? How tall? Bent at 45 angle at top? Electric?
Thanks

They can climb if they feel the need to.

I've heard about people putting up a fence with wooden posts, which proved problematic as the chucks could actually climb the fence. I usually tell clients there is two ways to approach problem wildlife, try to exclude or try to funnel. Simply make a fence that goes around at the area to be protected while leaving a couple of purposely placed opening for a double door cage. Some of the best plans to exclude fail so rather than even work that hard, just direct the animal where you want to catch him and make the perimeter fence more like a drift fence in function.
