Go on-line and put in "21 Hilarious Semi Trucks You Don't Want To Miss" Some of these would be worth the money and I guarantee that

people won't forget you.

I prefer magnetic signs for two reasons.

You can remove them for those paranoid clients that want to hide their problem from nosey neighbors that might lower their status in the eyes of the social sector.

And for the fact when you go to sell a vehicle it isn't real easy to remove a wrap if need be to avoid the deduction of trade in value depreciation.

But they are a good bulletin board for advertising.

Is there a brand of magnetic sign you prefer? I've heard some don't hold up well.

NOPE. it'd would exceed the value of my trucks....get me too much business, and semi-retirement would go away.

Like Bob I'm a magnetic sign guy. The local shop made 3 for $70.

Saw the slide show, Impressive and as noted likely to well exceed the value of a truck.

Go to www.yahoo.com, and scroll down the news articles, it's about 20 or so down as of now.
Link doesn't works as Yahoo will not accept info from our server system, They claim it prevents hackers form taking over.

fletch, I don't know what kind they are but I have had some of them since I have been in business and they are showing their age like I am. I imagine the magnetic sheeting that is used is most likely a commonly shared material in that industry.

As long as you keep the vehicle attachment area under the sign relatively clean and occasionally wipe the back side of the magnetic sign off they should hold very well.

It is when you get signs that lay over part of a gas cap cover area that these types of signs develop a memory in the magnet which can make it more prone to release. Particularly if an attendant from the gas station pumps your gas and has no clue what they are doing when they remove the sign and replace it. They stick onto a dirty gritty surface and then it transfers to the back of the sign as result creating an accumulative barrier that reduces the magnetic bond.

Keep the sign back clean and the truck application surface clean and you should be good to go for many years.

I am having new signs designed this week as a matter of fact. My old ones are cracked and split etc. Just doesn't look very professional.

Bob, maybe you could ask Sweet Pea if you could use that picture of her and the moles on a magnetic sign for your mole truck.

Maybe a better idea to get her to ride along with me when I bid jobs and show her off to our clients. I bet she could sell a lot of work.
