Got an opossum today and saw a tail and legs kicking out below mamma.

I miss opossum, grew up with them in NY, had them in UT at school, MI on the job and OR under my deck...
Truly an interesting animal and the way those little ones grow and then hang on is an amazing feat unto itself!
Don't have them here, wish we did!

Well now I know what to send you for Christmas. And God made them with neat carrying handles.

I'm growing fonder of possums all the time.
Took one out from under a lady's wood pile. She had 8 little ones in her pouch.
Could not help myself. We just HAD to play with them a little bit.
My son's best friend was there when we released them. Watching Mamma waddle off with all the little ones clinging tight to her back he said, "It looks like a possum mini van".
