scheduling software..... who uses what? - 05/13/15 08:01 PM

Alright, my mind still works like a steel trap albeit a slightly rusted steel trap, but its getting to the point im going to need some sort of scheduling software for recurring jobs and such. my invoicing program works, but it could be better and easier to input stuff. im looking around right now and although there is a lot out there, some of them are pretty expensive.

who uses what, how much is it and is that a one time expense, monthly or yearly charge, hows it working, and so forth?

thanks fellas!

I just started using fieldwork pest control software , it's taking a little getting
Used to! Could be simpler but I've never used a computer before so

Good for strictly pest control

I've seen it onlie, but for 50+ per month I don't get it. I want to pay a onetime fee

If you have a smart phone and have technicians, there is an application called "Cozi". All our techs can log in to it and see the schedule and cross of animal pickups and repair work as they are completed so the office manager and other techs know when things have been done. Around $29/year and works well for us

I like simpler, so use an appointment book, like mechanics or dentists.
Plus, I have a small NOT growing business, which is fine due to my declining health.

I made this same post some time ago with no good options being found other than subscription based products. I really like Jobber and almost pulled the trigger on it but don't want to get it, find out it doesn't work for me and then re-enter all the data. I currently schedule appointments on my Android smart phone which syncs with Anytime Organizer Deluxe 14 on my computer. This software does allow you to create recurring events and not just one time appointments. Of course I still use my notebook and pen...

I'm going to try to make an exel workbook to use for contract and billing. I can automate most of the invoice from the rest of the paperwork. Shouldn't be too hard.
