Recently I have been using the square credit card reader...I know some of you guyz have and use this payment method...So any way my question is.. Is it possible to accept payment over the phone with the customer not present ? I have ran into people wanting to pay credit card..but are not in the local area to be present...I have always declined because I thought a signature was needed over 25.00...

No signature needed. You can just type in the card number, exp, 3 digit code, and zip code where they get the bill. Square does take an extra 1% when no card is swiped though.

One more thing..does signature required need to be disabled ?

No, when finished entered, a prompt will come up and just tap no signature and done.
