Anyone here use them or know the quality of these traps? Thanks in advance!

I have a few and they are decent traps, but not something I use regularly. Usually put them on the jobs that are high risk for theft or when we have every other trap out and I am desperate. Not because they are not good traps, but we have much better ones that are used first. If you are just starting out and don't plan on setting these on rooftops, then I would recommend these over something cheap like the Advantex TSC carries. If all you can afford is the Advantex, give me a call and I have a few easy ways to beef them up so you can at least get by for awhile.

I have a couple and they are good for coon and skunks. I think a small skunk in mid summer would not trip the treadle though. I can't find a way to fine tune the treadle for a lighter trip. If you are just trapping skunks, I think a smaller enclosed trap would be my first choice.

You can pay any price you want for a trap. The nice thing about a double door trap and do not have to use both doors open. Just like any thing else you get what you pay for.JMO

Thanks for all the info everyone! I'm just going to go with Comstock traps like I should have from the start...I was just trying to save a penny.
