Water crickets? - 09/30/14 05:21 PM
Is the paste in a tube any good at ridding a crawlspace of water crickets?
This under-house crawlspace is super clean, been insulated and plastic layered.
The guy who did it guaranteed no water crickets, but now that they are there, the homeowner can't find him.

do you mean mole crickets or camel backs?
So for those of us that have no idea of what you guys are talking about, I can only assume that this is just another product of southern temperatures and since global warming is no more, us northern lunatics have nothing to worry about?
Ron, why do you always make me feel a lot dumber than you? ( Now if only you could make me feel a lot younger ) Just wanted you to
know that your posts are not a waste of time. I recognized the camel cricket immediately, but the mole cricket threw me for a loop.
Guess I have still more work to do. Thank you, Professor!

Paul W.,
Thanks for the kind words. GOOGLE is my friend if I want to provide more creditable information than my own opinion. Did you ever see a hummingbird hunting rat snake? Here is what was on my back deck this morning.
Absolutely great picture, Ron. Am I guessing correctly if I say that if I would like a picture posted and am to uneducated, I might send it to you?

Certainly, you can send a message to the email address listed in my profile. Alternately, you can call me and I will talk you through the process. My phone number and alternate email address is provided in the PM that I just sent your direction. If you accept PMs, just click on the flashing envelope at the top of the forum. I first saw the snake about 0700 AM and he was still in the same position until at least noon. I haven't seen it since then. I have seen a couple of hummingbirds since then though.
