town coyotes - 08/03/14 11:24 AM

Received a call Monday, client lives in a neighboring town, concerned about these coyotes. Three of them actually attacked one of her neighbors! First I've ever herd of attack around here. Tore him up kinda bad.
She has also heard pups, and had one adult on here front porch. The area is also known for its delapidated properties and its long-fingered inhabitants, I'm kinda hesitant on taking this one,but hate to leave them in a lurch.
Any thoughts or input will be greatly appreciated, and not wasted!

I guess I would go around and talk to the people in the area, get a feel for how they would react. They may be very supportive and go from there. They maybe helpful.

What does the law enforcement say? I would assume the 'attack' was reported...? Is the media involved? I would make sure of the details and be cautious of false information. If everything checks out you have a good opportunity to provide a professional service.

Can you better describe the area...is it VERY rural or a mix of residential and country? I ask because IF rural... country folks USUALLY take care of these types of problems THEMSELVES. If a mix...you will have a nosey/busy body there quick to call the police. Be careful, these type of jobs can be a headache IF your clientele talks too much.

The attack was reported in the news paper, and the town is residential, and as previously stated, known for its long and stickey fingered residents. And busy bodies is an understatement. Per capita the majority of the town receive disability checks, for every house kept up there are two delapidated .
This is beginning to sound bad ,please understand I am not running down the town, just describing the scenario. There's a lot of good folks there, but the ratio is one to one ,just a tough area to work.
Clannish area and the clients are not in the click.Tough call.
