Sparrow in building

Sparrow in building - 01/03/14 02:31 PM

I've tried mist nets, bird house traps, glue traps but there is one last sparrow evading capture. It is a strictly no shoot zone, even with a pellet rifle and to put it plainly, there is an overabundance of available food and water that is impossible to remove.

Has anyone here used a Foxpro or other caller to attract a sparrow to a particular area? I know Foxpro has a sparrow distress call, but I'm looking for a mating or rivalry call. The plan is to lure the bird into a particular smaller room that it has been frequenting, and then "close the door" on him.
It will be a lot easier to work the bird in that area than in 200,000 sq ft of trusses, exposed duct-work and sensitive areas.
Thanks.

Sparrow sled from wcs.
You will need another sparrow to sing to the one that is the problem
They (sparrows) are vary gergarous (sp), therefore they are attracted
to their kind.
