Bald Eagle's for Canada Goose Control. - 06/18/13 08:59 PM
Many years ago I took part in research for keeping fish eating birds out of state and federal hatcheries. A side note to the project was the repeated note that geese would note approach (usually within 50 -100 yards) the flying bald eagle silhouette's. Has the commercial industry been using anything like these to control geese?

Pretty common down here in winter wheat and barley fields.

Not exactly,
Ours were made in our shop out of plywood and 2x8 and made so that the wings flapped in a breeze. Hung with 1/16 inch cable. I can try to find a pic and scan it to digital if wanted. We also built a smaller version that looked like a peregrine falcon for pigeon control. It worked great around grain bins.

That is a kite. Are you telling us to go fly a kite?

We are experimenting with different coyote vocals. Will be done in a month.
