Got a good chuckle out of this one... - 10/19/12 03:37 AM

I'm doing some skunk work for a guy I work with at my full time job. He's a goat farmer and has been having problems with skunks spraying in his barn at night. All his goats are on sweet fruit based feed so it's obvious why the skunks are moving in. I asked him if he had any goats that were small enough to fit in the traps, and after looking at them he told me no. This morning I had 4 skunks, and this guy grin . I don't think this falls under the non target rule due to kid goat being released onsite, unharmed. Gave me a good laugh though! Anyone else ever live trap a goat?

Tyson, while I have never trapped a goat ( congratulations, by the way ) on one of my first jobs I did catch the customers dog in a cage in her basement. The customer took several pictures and thought it was hilarious. I also caught the target animals ( squirrels, I think ) so just like you, everything turned out fine.

Thank you Mr. Winkelmann, I have not yet caught a dog, I heard they're cage shy like coyotes grin . It's always nice when things work out.

Dang, that's one cute li'l goat. I used to have a goat...nuttiest creature on God's green earth. Horses are calm and intelligent by comparison.
