Who are our industry leaders? - 10/09/12 03:07 AM
Our Association is brainstorming on who to invite to be our Keynote speaker at our tenth annual conference. We are also looking to have some specialty guys give presentations over something like skype. I have some people in mind but would like to hear who you guys like? Who do you remember giving a great presentation? Who do you think would be a great speaker?

I am not going to argue about even one of the selections that you guys have chosen. You certainly know who is who in this business.
Now our company is in the pest control business also so pardon me if I mention that the guy you know as "warrior" as being the best I have ever seen at stinging insects and especially bee control.
You guys also know I'm a "homeboy" and I love the idea that if you can think of a trap, you can usually get somebody to build it. I would be remiss if I didn't mention that Tomahawk made cages for me twenty years ago. Two of those cages have gone into production, a fact I'm very proud of. ( Of course, if they lose their butt on those cages, forget I ever mentioned it )
I also noticed that if you included bait and lure makers, it would be hard to exclude anyone. I can truly say that there is not a single bait or lure that was sent, recommended, or purchased, that did not attract the animal that it was intended for. People will develop a preference, usually for someone they know or is close by, but that has nothing to do with how good an attractant is.
All in all, I would say that this list is shaping up well.

I was glad someone finally posted Tim Julien. Legislation wise, we'd be in a world of hurt here in Indiana without him.
